National Association of Consumer Advocates

Please visit www.naca.net for some outstanding information, advice and support for arbitration victims and to locate a NACA lawyer in your area.  NACA is at the forefront of the movement against mandatory binding arbitration clauses in all sorts of consumer contracts.

I’ve been told that NACA is planning a major arbitration rally for February or March of 2009 that will coincide with anti-arbitration legislation discussions on Capital Hill.  They, in conjunction with the Give Me Back My Rights Coalition, will bring victims of mandatory binding arbitration with them so they can tell their stories.  I’ll post more information as it becomes available.

  1. Received small business ADVANTA credit card in Jul.08. One day late with payment in NOV.08 and rate went from 7.99 % to 32.99% with credit limit of $7500. Sent payment of $3900. on 5 May and went to make a $1000. purchase on 25 May and embarassingly rejected. Called ADVANTA and was told credit line was reduced. This was done without my prior knowledge and they said they were mailing me notification. This should have been done prior not as an afterthought. They stated that in the “fine print” that they could do anything at any time. I would urge all of the small business owners out there to avoid ADVANTA BANK CORP. at all cost so you won’t get scammed as I was by this underhanded company.
